Current Opportunities 

The Community Engagement Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director to help YES continue to grow over the coming years to meet the needs of the youth and families we serve. This is an exciting new role that is responsible for external communications, volunteer coordination, resource development and direct community engagement. The Youth-in-Transition Worker (YITW) will work as part of our outreach team and support youth aged 16-24 who are/have been involved with the Children’s Aid Society.  The YITW will support youth in moving forward on their goals related to life skills, employment, financial literacy and banking, education, legal concerns, physical and mental house, housing and social connection.  Please apply through Charity Village.

Part-Time Shelter Worker

Shelter Workers work closely with our clientele, as a team, providing in-house
services under the direction of case management and supervisors. We will be accepting applications on an ongoing basis for this part-time shelter worker position. The applications will be reviewed until the position is filled. If you are interested, please apply email your application, including references, to hr@yesshelter.ca.
RELIEF Shelter Worker
YES accepts applications for relief shelter workers at any time. Relief Shelter Workers work closely with our clientele, as a team, providing in-house services under the direction of case management and supervisors. Relief staff are not guaranteed any hours but are called on an as-needed basis to provide coverage for shelter shifts when they become available. If you are interested, please email your application, including references to hr@yesshelter.ca.
