Research
YES gathers information from the city and nationally and uses it to better serve our clients and community. As well, the staff and board produce regular reports about the activities and progress of the shelter.
YES was involved in a research project to learn how rural youth decide whether to stay (or return to) where they were raised or to move to urban centres. The youths’ compelling stories about their experience of being insecurely housed are available at http://to-go-or-to-stay.ca/
