Lost Child

We choose action. We’re ending youth homelessness in Peterborough

Help us expand our Rise Youth Housing Program

We know how to end youth homelessness. It’s by providing a housing program that can help youth stay safe, start healing and get the supports they need as they transition into adulthood.

YES has run a housing program like this called the Rise Youth Housing Program for the last 14 years, and seen great results, but we’ve only been able to accommodate 7 youth at a time. Now, we’re expanding it to have space for 32 youth by the Spring of 2020.

This program has the power to end youth homelessness in Peterborough. This means that over the years, the adult homeless population will also be drastically reduced.

The expansion of the program is happening, but we need help from the community keep it going. We’re asking for your support to ensure we can accommodate as many youth as possible, for as long as it takes to move from 80 youth currently experiencing homelessness in Peterborough, to zero.

All contributions are important, but the very best way to help is to become a monthly donor. This kind of commitment allows us make the best possible decisions regarding our resources and program planning.
