It’s like putting up the tree or baking your first batch of cookies, the ‘In From the Cold’ concert, in support of the YES Shelter for Youth and Families, kicks off the holiday season for many of us in Peterborough.
Once again (and for the last 23 years!) local musician John Hoffman has brought his friends together to put on a fantastic holiday show and support young people and families in a housing crisis.
This year’s show will feature the full complement of In From the Cold Performers: folk group Carried Away, the Convivio Chorus and Curtis Driedger and the Claviers.
This annual winter concert brings together extraordinary local talent to perform an array of holiday songs from all over the world, with a smattering of seasonal folk songs and choral hymns.
The show starts at 8pm on Friday December 8th and Saturday December 9th. We highly recommend going out for dinner downtown Peterborough ahead of the show and making a night of it. Perhaps at the El-P or Favourite Greek on George St?
