Paid Speakers Training with YES and PBTO Drug Strategy

As part of YES’s Youth Voice work, we have partnered with the Peterborough Drug Strategy to train youth speakers (16-24) to develop their story and equip them with public speaking skills. These speakers then share their experiences of housing insecurity or substance use at various events in the City and County of Peterborough.
Youth are paid for their time in the training, and we work hard to reduce barriers. We are currently looking for youth who are interested in sharing their experiences about substance use and housing insecurity. If you know anyone between 16-24 who might be interested, please direct them to:
